My mum had complicated health conditions and one of them is a hernia. Because of her heart and other issues they have not been able to repair but it has recently been given the go ahead but information not passed on. My mum sally needs the operation for her wellbeing and quality of life as it often immobilizes her for weeks to months at a time.
