The Easter story is this … Jesus Died, and he rose again for us, to bear our sin so we can have the gift of salvation with him. The pain and brutality of the Easter story is often hidden or forgotten but must be understood. The Easter Story, His pain, Our Sin and our salvation is so important to Jesus that he gave his everything for it. Death = the easier bit, How he died was the true sacrifice, the weight of our Sin on him in such a horrific moment, all of it for us.
