Join us back in the building for worship from Sunday 19th September @4pm!
Due to Covid restrictions, our risk assessments and seating capacity, please note that everyone wanting to attend must sign up for a seat, where seats will be arranged on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. Therefore the request to sign up must be received by Friday 10am. A confirmation will be sent later that Friday evening hopefully confirming your allocated seat!
If you are visiting the Hill, we would love to have you! It would be helpful, if possible, if you can email firstname.lastname@example.org before Friday 10am requesting a seat – however, we will keep a few seats allocated to visitors who may not have signed up, regardless! So you are very welcome to come and join us!
Here is some detail of the ‘how’ and ‘when’ for Sundays, until further notice.
No more than 1 hour including a 15 minute teaching & some songs led by a band.
We will not offer teas/coffees at this present time. You may bring your own drink if you require it.
In line with many other churches in Swansea, we will space chairs out with 1m distance. However, 2m can be chosen by anyone who requests it; this is not a problem and will be an option when signing up for a seat.
Masks must be worn (by law) within the building, unless you are exempt.
The side doors will be opened for ventilation to improve air flow, with the gate locked at 4.10pm for the safety of the children.
The Cafe area will be reserved for parents with children, and the youth. While we ask parents in those areas to maintain the 1m rule as far as possible, we understand that this will be difficult for children, who will enjoy being together. There will be some things like colouring in books and toys put out for them. The double doors will be kept open, and the message and music screened through the projector in the Cafe. We understand that this will not feel like the best environment for the children (or the parents) to receive teaching, but the focus on these first few weeks back at the building after 18 months is to enjoy being family together and seeing each other, with time to ease back into rotas and dedicated spaces.
We understand that there may be some who want to attend but can’t – this may for example be due to being unable to book a seat, feeling vulnerable, having to self isolate, having symptoms or testing positive for Covid-19 (Covid cases in Swansea are currently very high). Therefore, we will ‘Zoom’ the meeting as well. Of course this will not have the same feel of connection and interactivity that we have all enjoyed in the previous format – but we hope nonetheless that it will provide a connection for those not able to attend. The code to join will be the same – 83041000685 – but you will need to enter a new password as well – 975806. You could use the link below.
If you have any queries on these measures or anything else, we want to hear from you! Please feel free to contact Grant on 07547005770, or email@example.com
