πŸ™πŸΌβœοΈ Starting the Year in Worship As a πŸ™πŸΌβœοΈ Starting the Year in Worship

As a church, we’ve begun January by lifting our eyes to Jesus together. Each day, someone from our Hill family is sharing a worship song and a short reflection on why it matters to them. Here are the first five days as we start this journey together.

🟠 Day 1 | Sarah Rees
Away in a Manger – Phil Wickham
A powerful reminder that the King of heaven chose to come close as a helpless baby, showing humility, love, and sacrifice.

🟒 Day 2 – Chris Eyte
Jesus My Righteousness – John Mark Pantana
A song that reminds us Jesus is our defence and our safety when life feels heavy.

πŸ”΅ Day 3 – Daniel Ewers
By His Wounds – Mac Powell, Steven Curtis Chapman, Brian Littrell, Mark Hall
A reflection on the depth of what Jesus gave for us on the cross, despite us never deserving it.

πŸ”΄ Day 4 – James Smith
Dry Bones (Live) – FreshStart Revival Worship
A prayerful cry for renewal, believing God can bring life, hope, and revival again in our time.

🟑 Day 5 – Celine Eyte
The Father’s Song – Matt Redman
A gentle reminder that the words God speaks over us are precious and shape who we are.

What a way to begin the year. Worshipping our Lord and Saviour and encouraging one another as a church family. You are very welcome to join us as we continue this journey together, one song at a time.

We loved getting out onto the street yesterday and sharing the love with our community. The inflatable photo booth was a massive hit and brought so many smiles. If you grabbed a picture with us, we would love to see it. Feel free to send it in or tag us.

We handed out 500 flyers sharing the message
β€œJesus - The Light That Never Goes Out”
along with sweets, treats, and a whole lot of joy.

Huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen and to our very energetic gingerbread man and friendly Christmas tree who brought so many families in.

If you met us yesterday or just fancy connecting with a warm and welcoming church family, we would love to see you on Sundays at 4pm at Matthew’s House.

Come and join us. Hope to see you there.

We were so blessed this weekend to welcome Thom and Hannah Lynch onto our Eldership Team here at The Hill. πŸ’›

It was a powerful afternoon as Richard Thomas from Hope Church Worcester shared a brilliant message on Eldership that spoke into our Heart After God Culture.

We’re thankful for all God is doing and excited for this next season as a church right in the heart of Swansea. πŸ™οΈπŸ”₯
