Why we are not meeting two weeks in a row?

Occasionally we do not meet together as a whole church. We call this The Hill Scattered. It reminds us we are the church everywhere not just in our meeting place, and most importantly it reminds us that we exist for those outside of the church.

In the last few months we have seen quite a lot of growth in numbers at our Sunday meeting and this was one of the reasons for us needing to move venues. Moving always presents challenges and so we decided that we would meet in our new meeting place for two weeks, then pause for two weeks. This two week “pause” (23 Feb & 2 Mar) would allow us time to sort out practical elements which we spotted from moving.
In reality it is not a two week “pause” because on the 2nd March we will be meeting for a city-wide celebration with the other churches in Swansea. We have always said that no single church will succeed in Swansea, but ONE church can. So we embrace these times together as very important for church unity and common purpose.
We will resume our regular Sunday meeting at 4pm on 9 March.
